In 1917 kreeg HVV Helmond een eigen sportpark op Houtsdonk aan de Houtse Parallelweg en verhuisde ons “clubhuis” na ruim 25 jaar “Korenbeurs” naar café Drouen aan de Steenweg. Even werd het “Oude Kasteel” van Wim van Stiphout aan de Noord-Koninginnewal de thuishaven. Bij een bombardement rond Kerstmis 1944, waarbij de zaak vernietigd werd en veel archief verloren ging, werd Drouen weer opnieuw het ontmoetingscentrum
