Moon’s Yorkshire Terriers Foundation was founded on August 30, 2012 by 'Moon'.
Her mission was and is to give every dog a nice home and especially to be there for sick, older and/or disabled dogs without any profit motive.
As founder, Moon is the hub of the foundation and the driving force behind all activities of the foundation.
But she cannot do it alone and now has a team of people around her who help and support her and together form the foundation. All completely voluntary, out of love for the dogs.

Sign upThe brand covers the cost, so you pay nothing extra. For each purchase, you decide which cause receives your free donation.
Brands pay us a commission when you shop through ShopDonation. We turn that commission into a donation for your chosen cause.
How much will the donation be?
That depends on the commission of the brand: you see the percentage or fixed amount below every shop logo.
Together we redistribute commercial profits to social projects, one purchase at a time!
No. You pay exactly the same amount as if you went directly to the store's website.
The brands reward us every time we bring a customer to their website, and we share the commission we receive as a donation to your chosen cause. The funds come from their marketing budget, similar to what they'd spend on online ads.
Brands don't pay anything upfront; they only pay a commission after a purchase has been made. Each brand sets its own commission rate.
Yes! We negotiate exclusive deals, promotions and discounts with our affiliated brands, so you can even save money by shopping through ShopDonation.
No. We never sell your data. Webshops, causes and other users never get your name or email address from us. We only share anonymous data with a few essential services, such as Google Analytics.
Many popular brands work with us, including Booking, NetFlorist, Cotton On and many more. See the full list on our shop overview page.
Yes. You earn the same loyalty points as when you go to the webshop directly.
Both shoppers and causes can see all transactions and track funds raised in real time. Each donation shows exactly when it has been paid out. Try it yourself: make a purchase and you'll receive a confirmation of your donation. Read more about our transparency.
Yes, we are currently the only provider of this service in multiple countries, so causes can receive recurring funds from supporters worldwide. See which countries are live on shopdonation.org.
On average per month:
Our top shoppers have raised more than R40,000 for their cause in a few years.
Causes can disable any brand for their shoppers. Ask the cause to disable the brand; it will then no longer appear when that cause is selected.
A few cookies show us how the site is used, so we can keep making it better. Even if you only allow necessary cookies, your purchases still generate free donations.
Needed for the site to work and to register your purchase, so your cause receives the donation.
